The cigarette is the deadliest artefact in the history of human civilisation. Most of the richer countries of the globe, however, are making progress in reducing both smoking rates and overall consumption. Many different methods have been proposed to steepen this downward slope, including increased taxation, bans on advertising, promotion of cessation, and expansion of smoke-free spaces.
But what do you think? Should the production and sale of cigarettes be made illegal?
what i can say about this is first i don't agree with the motion because people who take cigarettes are mature enough to know what is good for them and what is bad for them so they better take it in the right place where they can't cause any problem to anybody .
I have a say on this, I don't think making cigars illegal would solve any problem. It would probably make it worse since it is proven psychologically that us, humans get extremely attached to something we are not allowed to get hold of. Thats just how it is, weed is illegal but that won't stop it. However, I believe that cigarettes are harmful to our society. I just don't have a better idea of how they could eradicated for good.
